By car via the Brenner highway (A22):
On the Brenner highway (A22) travel towards South Tyrol, take exit Brixen/Pustertal. Follow the road for about 44 km und take the exit “Welsberg West”. Make a left turn at the exit and follow the state road to Taisten. (*) Once you reach the centre of Taisten, turn left at the Conad food store. Continue straight ahead, past the parish church, and follow the road until you reach the “Alpen Tesitin” hotel. Shortly after passing the “Alpen Tesitin” hotel, turn right. After approx. 1km you will arrive at “Unterguggenberg Hof”.

Travelling by car via Lienz in East Tyrol (A):
Cross the Austrian-Italian border, follow the state road (SS49-E66) and after approx. 20 km take the right exit “Welsberg Ost”. Drive through Welsberg village and turn right at the end of the village going in the direction of Taisten. Directions continued above (*).

By train/bus:
The IC or EC train takes you to Franzensfeste – where you can catch all trains from the north and from the south. Local trains take you to Welsberg in the Pustertal valley. From Welsberg take the public bus to Taisten. On request, we will be happy to collect you from the bus stop in Taisten or the train station in Welsberg. Please give us sufficient notice!

Scheduled flights are available to and from Bozen (101 km), Innsbruck (124 km), Verona (243 km) and Treviso (184 km).
